What should you expect?

Q: When are worship services held?

A: Sunday worship services are held weekly at 7:45am and 10:00am in the Main Sanctuary. Teen worship service is held at 10:30am. The Teen Center (Youth Chapel) is open for students to fellowship at 10:00am.

Wednesday Bible study is held at 12:00pm and 6:30pm. Children and Youth Ministries has Bible Study and Small Groups at 6:30pm.

Q: How long do worship services normally last?

A: Our regular 7:45am worship service is approximately 75 minutes; 10:00am service is approximately 90 – 120 minutes but that timeframe is subject to change under the direction of the Holy Spirit. Holy Communion is served monthly on the first Sunday.

Q: What is the typical Sunday attire?

A: At Mt. Zion Progressive, you will see a variety of styles – from suits and dresses to slacks and jeans. The most important thing is to come dressed in a way that you feel comfortable to worship God. Our dress code is “casual, but modest.”

Q: Do you offer children’s church?

A: Your children are welcome to attend service with you or go to any one of the CYM services, where they will be taught the Word of God in an age-appropriate way. Our Children and Youth Ministries welcomes children from infancy to 12th grade. Masterpieces our Nursery age from 0 to Pre-K. King’s Young Divine Servants (KYDS) welcome grades Kindergarten to 5th and One 80 Teens is open for 6th to 12th grades. Wednesday night Bible Study and Small Groups for KYDS and Teens also available.

Q: Where should I park?

A: Ample parking is available onsite at any one of 5 lots. Please note there are 6 handicap spaces and 6 visitor spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis in Lot A. Parking lot shuttles will bring you to the front door of the church.

Q: Do you offer transportation?

A: Limited bus pick up is available for the surrounding area. To make a reservation for pick up, call the church office at 727-894-4311.
